Hostmark Hospitality Group Adds DoubleTree® Hotel Tampa Westshore Airport to Portfolio

Schaumburg, IL. October 1, 2007–The Shamrock-Hostmark Hotel Fund LP announced its latest addition to the fund portfolio, Doubletree Hotel Tampa Westshore Airport. This is the sixth transaction for the fund which officially concluded on September 20, 2007.
The 489 room Doubletree Hotel Tampa Westshore Airport (www.tampadoubletree.com) just completed a $2M room renovation, aligning the product with Hilton’s targeted business travel guest and HHonors® reward program. The fund intends to infuse an additional $13M in capital improvements to the asset – refining the hotels unique position as the largest full-service hotel and performance leader in the Tampa Airport market.
The Doubletree is conveniently located minutes from Tampa International Airport, International Plaza and Westshore Malls. Nearby attractions include major league sports stadiums, Ybor City nightlife and Gulf of Mexico beaches. The Doubletree boasts 16,000 square feet of meeting space, three restaurants and lounges, 24-hour fitness center and guestrooms that feature balconies overlooking a tropical landscaped pool and spa.
