Four Key West Hotels Augment Hostmark's 2011 Portfolio

Schaumburg, IL, January 15, 2011 – Hostmark Hospitality Group welcomed the new year with the addition of four Key West, Florida, properties to its management portfolio, including Days Inn, Comfort Inn, Hotel Key West and Quality Inn, plus the Welcome Center and restaurant buildings on North Roosevelt Road near the city’s entrance.
The Hotel Key West will be re-flagged as Lexington Hotel Key West within the next two months, to enhance the property’s performance and distribution network.
Industry veteran Hostmark Hospitality Group was chosen to handle day-to-day management for the four hotels based on the company’s knowledgeable resource teams, including sales, marketing, revenue, human resources and construction management. With these latest additions, Hostmark Hospitality Group manages more than 40 properties with over 6,000 rooms worldwide.
Hostmark President Jerome Cataldo remarked, “We are pleased to have this opportunity to work with four resort-area properties offering a range of business and leisure options as well as unique possibilities and challenges; with Hostmark’s incomparable team of experts, we plan to deliver superior management results.” The four hotels give travelers a combined 527 rooms, each close to the beach and offering a pool, complimentary internet access and seasoned on-site staff.
Hostmark will draw upon prior Florida Keys hotel experience as they map strategy, having previously managed Days Inn Key West, Holiday Inn in Marathon and Holiday Isle in Islamorada.
