Hostmark Announces Executive Appointments

Schaumburg, IL, July 11, 2011 – Serving as testament to Hostmark’s continued growth and reputation as an industry leader, Hostmark Hospitality Group announced two executive appointments within the Sales & Marketing division.
Brian Tkac has been promoted to the position of Vice President Sales & Marketing. In this elevated role, Brian will assume the senior leadership position for sales in addition to his current responsibilities for marketing and revenue management. He will continue to evolve Hostmark’s vision for the SMART team (Sales, Marketing & Revenue Team), by providing cohesive direction to deliver superior results in top-line performance. Brian has served Hostmark for the past seventeen years in various roles within the sales and marketing division and has been an integral contributor to the leadership team.
Ed Skapinok has joined the Hostmark organization as Vice President of Sales. He will be heading the sales division and providing direct support to Hostmark’s portfolio of hotels and resorts. For the past eight years, Ed worked for Larkspur Hotels and Restaurants in various roles, including Regional Director, Vice President of Sales and Vice President of National Sales for the company’s upscale brands. Prior, Ed worked as Director of Key Account Sales for InterContinental Hotels Group where he was responsible for more than $50 million in annual revenues. Ed holds an MBA degree from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from California State University, Long Beach.
