  • Prepare 5-year pro-forma operating projections with supporting details and financial analysis to assist owners in the financing of the project 
  • Prepare budgets, projections and a pre-opening marketing plan 
  • Prepare and execute a critical path schedule for all operational areas of the hotel to ensure an on-time opening 
  • In communications with the owner, general contractor, interior designer and installer of FF&E 
  • Assist in the specification of all operating equipment for the hotel as well as in the coordination of its delivery and installation 
  • Recruit, train, direct, supervise and employ the on-site staff required to open and operate the hotel or resort in accordance with the pre-opening plan and budget 
  • Assist the owner in the negotiation and administration of the franchise for the hotel 
  • Secure all licenses necessary for the operation of the hotel as a project cost
  • Conceive and work with owners to arrange and promote appropriate inaugural ceremonies and public relations for opening of the hotel
  • Coordinate the resources available to the hotel from Hostmark’s national sales force and database to facilitate the hotel’s pre-opening sales effort
